Corona, CA – February 2018 – Advanced Technology has been acquired by Westfall Technik. Advanced Technology brings multiple new customer relationships, early product development support, good reputations, and engineering talent to Westfall.

Westfall Managing Director Rick Shaffer said that the company has been formally renamed 10 Day Parts.

10 Day Parts does what its name says. Using 3D part files, the company can build tooling and provide molded parts within 10 business days. The molds are guaranteed for two million shots, according to the company. Shaffer said 10 Day Parts runs six small-tonnage injection molding machines.

Las Vegas-based Westfall Technik now owns four plastics companies. In October, the holding firm bought Fairway Injection Molds of Walnut, CA, and Integrity Mold of Tempe, AZ. Westfall, founded by plastics industry veteran Brian Jones, is building a group of companies to focus on medical, packaging and consumer goods markets.

Molding Business Services of Florence, MA represented Advanced Technology in the sale.
