November 2019 – Corona, CA – Accent Plastics of Corona, CA has been acquired by Syntech Development and Manufacturing Inc. (SDM) of Chino, CA. Accent is a leading manufacturer of custom injection molded medical device components.
Accent Plastics CEO Tom Pridonoff is retiring after more than 35 years with the company. SDM will continue to operate Accent Plastics in its current location utilizing the current facility, equipment, and personnel.
SDM provides medical clean room molding and assembly services, as well as tooling fabrication, maintenance, and repair. It will now operate two facilities totaling 54,000 sq. ft with 37 injection molding machines ranging in size from 20 tons to 500 tons. The company utilizes certified class 7 and 8 clean rooms for molding and assembly and is capable of complete medical device manufacturing.
SDM president Bob Hobbs has over forty years of experience in the plastics industry.
SDM will continue to serve the medical device, electronics, industrial, safety, aerospace, and automotive industries.
