December 2020 – Ramos Arizpe, Mexico – Revere Plastics Systems purchased Rochester, N.Y.-based Alliance Precision Plastics Corp.’s Mexican operation near Saltillo, Mexico.
The acquisition includes a 53,000 square foot manufacturing facility with 23 injection molding presses ranging from 67 to 720 tons. The purchase establishes Revere’s first facility in Mexico. Revere will continue to employ the people in the plant and will continue to serve the existing customers.
“This acquisition gives Revere an important foothold in the vibrant manufacturing region of Northeastern Mexico,” RPS CEO Glen Fish said.
He went on to say, “The acquisition enhances our ability to quickly bring products to market in a very cost-effective way. This is our third facility acquired during 2020. To be able to continue expanding while satisfying our current customer base during a global pandemic is an achievement worth celebrating.”

Alliance Precision Plastics, which is privately owned and operated, now maintains two plants in Rochester, NY, and one in Spindale, NC. Since its founding in 2009, Alliance’s Mexico operation had diverged somewhat from the U.S. operations in terms of customers, capabilities, and focus. The divestiture will allow Alliance to focus more on its core operations in the U.S.
MBS advised Alliance Precision Plastics in the transaction.
