Mishawaka, IN – February 2025 – ForeFront Foam of Mishawaka, IN has been acquired by Alleguard of Brentwood, TN. Alleguard is a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital.
ForeFront Foam is an expanded polystyrene (“EPS”) foam manufacturing company serving the packaging, roofing, geofoam, pool/spa, and RV industries. The company was started in 2020 by Ryan Van Dyke, a 30-year veteran in the EPS foam industry.
Alleguard is a manufacturer and distributor of custom EPS, EPP, and ARCEL foam products. The company serves packaging, appliance, building products, cold chain, automotive, consumer, and other industrial end-markets.
Wynnchurch has made a series of EPS foam acquisitions since 2020 under the Alleguard brand, including Drew Foam, Huntington Solutions, Insulation Corporation of America, Fabricated Packaging Materials, Concrete Block Insulating Systems, and Amvic.
Wynnchurch hopes to build Alleguard into a market leader in the EPS foam manufacturing industry through extensive manufacturing capabilities, best-in-class customer service, and expansive geographic reach.
