Macomb Township, MI – August 2019 – Hicks Plastics Company, Inc. of Macomb Township, MI; a leading Tier II provider of injection molded and metalized automotive forward lighting components, has been acquired by Sea Link International, a portfolio company of New Water Capital, L.P.

New Water Capital, L.P. is a private equity firm focused on lower-middle market companies in transition, in the consumer, retail and industrial manufacturing and services sectors, with revenues of $30 million to $300 million.

New Water Capital acquired Sea Link International in March of 2016. Sea Link is a leading provider of design support and a manufacturer of high-precision automotive lighting components servicing global Tier 1 and OEM customers. In 2017, New Water acquired Myotek Industries, a leading Tier 1 OEM transportation LED lighting designer, manufacturer, and supplier. In 2018, Amptech, Inc. was acquired, a leading value-added manufacturer of electronics and electrical assemblies. All three companies are focused on automotive lighting design.
