June 2023 – South Bend, IN – The South Bend, IN plant of Springboard Manufacturing, has recently been acquired by Otto Environmental Systems North America.
The Springboard plant consisted of approximately 30 molding machines up to 500 tons.
Under the leadership of Brian Coll, Otto purchased the South Bend, IN plant from Springboard. Otto is a high-tech plastics thermoforming and injection molding company. Prior to purchasing Springboard’s plant, Otto had plants in NC, OH, MI, and Mexico.
Plastics-focused investment banking firm MBS Advisors of Florence, MA represented Springboard Manufacturing in the transaction. Financial details were not disclosed.
