April 2024 – Trumbauersville, PA – Total Molding Services, Inc. of Trumbauersville, PA has recently been acquired by Haartz Family Holdings, LLC headquartered in Acton, MA.

Established in 1987 by Thomas McNutt with deep enthusiasm and engineering expertise, the business was built as Total Molding Services, serving its community, employees, and customers for more than three decades. Dedicated problem solvers, their “Total Project Solution” includes in-house services from assisting in material selection to part design, mold design, and mold building. Other services also include machining, automation, assembly, packaging, and fulfillment.

Haartz Family Holdings, LLC. Has rebranded TMS as Moldgenix. A blend of “mold” and “genix” – a reference to Latin roots meaning generation or origin – the name change implies the creation of molded products and is designed to better reflect the company’s innovative spirit and future-forward vision as it undergoes new ownership.

Haartz Family Holdings is the investment arm of the Haartz family in their pursuit of diversified opportunities in the plastics processing space. Including holdings in Peak Performance Compounding LLC of Leominster, MA, Haartz Family Holdings is wholly owned by the Haartz Family, owners of The Haartz Corporation, a world leader in highly engineered and uniquely designed convertible toppings and interior surface materials.
