Molding Business Services is now MBS Advisors. We made this change because we are no longer solely focused on injection molding. In recent years, we have broadened our reach to include all types of plastics processing and engineered component manufacturing. And with the acquisition of Gros Executive Recruiters earlier in the year, we are now serving the packaging and plastics machinery markets.
With this expanded industry reach, MBS will still provide its core services: 1) M&A advisory and investment banking; 2) recruiting; and 3) consulting. We are closing in on our 100th successful M&A transaction and are finding success with a revamped business model in our recruiting department.
MBS has grown considerably over the last several years, both organically and via acquisition. We have more than doubled our staff, and are on pace to close ten or more transactions in 2018. We look forward to continued success as the plastics industry prospers.
